A Place of Beginnings (10'5"x10'5'x5'2")

A Place of Beginnings has a very grounded, centered atmosphere. It conveys a sense that the central standing stones are a parental force within a family, with the small child-stone symbolizing emergence between the two joined forces of feminine and masculine. The surrounding, inner circle of siltstones appears as a set of keys, perhaps ethics and values that hold families together. As with many of the sculptural arrangements, the two central stones are separated to symbolically create the sense of a sacred space where energies of Earth and heavens mingle. I see the world poetically.
